Configuration Change CS3 Team Leader

Introduction to the job

Fast market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires a high level of product integrity throughout their lifecycle to enable affordable microelectronics. New hardware and changes on hardware are requested on daily basis for our products. A smooth implementation of these changes is crucial for our business. It is your mission to organize and secure the process for product changes to ensure quality to minimize costs and processing time.

Make the difference in the efficiency and profitability of ASML by managing the material and BOM attributes in SAP through the product life cycle. Tactically facilitate data entry and modification of master data, apply your attention to detail and analytics experience to ensure the right parameters are in place to drive operational actions efficiently.Help our finance, planning and manufacturing organizations ensure the right parts are being planned in the right time based on the master data in SAP.Inspect and screen approved EC’s to ensure they are completely filled in with the right quality of information to execute the change.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

• Ensure intended changes are according to the Configuration Management and Master Data Management guidelines in accordance with Change Control Board (CCB).
• Facilitate first time right introduction of Engineering Changes (ECs) into ASML’s ERP system, by training and advising EC project team members.
• Enforce correct enrichment of material master and Bill of Material (BOM) data into ERP system.
• Sign-off for data quality in global EC process.
• Create and maintain worldwide material master and BOM master data in the ERP system.
• Define and maintain worldwide master data guidelines and work instructions for maintenance of material master and BOM master data.
• Execute master data changes based on data quality reports.
• Additional responsibilities, depending on assignment:
• Administrator and support role for ASML EC process workflow tool (MyChange ASML internal tool).
• Define, create and maintain reporting on EC process indicators and workload.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• At least 5 years’ work experience of with at least2 year’s experience in new product introductions or configuration management
• Good professional communication in English
• Experience in (master) data management and/or Excel/Access and/or ERP systems
• Proven analytical and conceptual skills combined with business sense
• Proven experience in managing multiple changes, configurations and their dependencies
• Proven experience in problem solving techniques and continuous improvement
• Experience in people development
• Experience in organizational change management
• Configuration Management certification (CMII module 1-6) is preferred.

• A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
• Since the start of 2017 a Configuration Management (CM) organization is in place within ASML. This organization is governed by the CM Board, with executives across the sectors of ASML. You work together with peer configuration change leaders, product change leaders, project leaders, project members from different sectors, trainers and CM experts.
