LO Software Engineer – Tool Quality

As a team we are motivated to continuously improve our support in a safe and structural way within a High Tech logistic and technical environment. As part of LEAN deployment we are creating, simplifying and standardizing our processes, aiming to increase the quality and decrease the costs.

Role and responsibilities

• Optimize and maintain our Tool Center application (PHP based);
• Translate (process) improvement requests into software capabilities of the existing application (PHP);
• 文档并维护技术文档；
• 在工具质量工程团队中紧密合作，现在存在于两名软件工程师和三名工程师。互相备份并保护知识；
• 充当用于支持我们流程的应用程序的关键用户（SAP，Excel，PHP应用程序）；
• Provide 1^st和2^ndline support to VESPA users and continuous improvement projects.

Education and experience

• Bachelor degree in Software Engineering or similar
• PHP and PHP frameworks (preference: Laravel);
• MySQL databases;
• HTML and CSS;
• JAVAscript and jQuery;
• 软件design (frontend as well as backend);
• Experience with project management;
• Knowledge of Sharepoint, Excel, SAP and report tooling (Spotfire) or eager to learn;
• Linux, Oracle databases, Websockets knowledge is a pré;
• Knowledge about logistical and/or warehouse processes is a pré;
• Minimum of 2 years work experience.
